To use bee propolis for a sore throat, simply mix 1 teaspoon of the propolis with 1 cup of water. Gargle the mixture for 30 seconds, then spit it out. You can do this 3-4 times per day until your sore throat goes away. You can also gargle with some Honey and warm water and that helps break up some mucus while coating your throat.

You can also take bee propolis capsules or tablets 3-4 times per day. Check the label for dosage instructions. Some people may be allergic to bee propolis, so it’s important to do a patch test before using it.

Apply a small amount of the bee propolis mixture to your forearm and wait 24 hours to see if you have any reaction. If you experience any redness, swelling, or itching, discontinue use immediately.
